Blueprint Columbus is an exciting new opportunity the City of Columbus is exploring to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows while investing in our neighborhoods and the local economy.
The City is hosting an outreach and pre-bid meeting on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 9:00 am at 1250 Fairwood Ave. for the Barthman Parsons Blueprint Green Infrastructure Pilot Project Phase 1, CIP No. 650405-100100. The work consists of Constructing Bioretention basins and associated storm water piping systems, playground equipment and rubberized playground surface, permeable pavement and basketball hoops, poles, and backboards and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract.
A project site tour will be held immediately following the pre-bid meeting at Southside Heritage Park 225 Reeb Ave. Invited participants include: prime contractors, certified small minority, and female-owned firms, as well as recent graduates of the Green Infrastructure Workforce Development training program at Columbus State Community College.
