“The City Columbus, Department of Finance and Management will be hosting a follow-up contractor information session to review the City’s new construction bid documents and process that went into effect January 1, 2015. The first training session was in December 2014.
At this follow-up session, we will review recent changes to the bid documents and city code since January 1, 2015; will walk through the bid document page by page to answer questions about what information is required or explain why it is required; and talk about what documents need to be provided by the contractor to enter into contract with the City. Please bring any comments/questions you have about the documents and process to the information session.
This session is geared towards all construction contractors doing business with the City, even if you have submitted many bids this year or are preparing your first one. Feel free to forward this to other industry partners who may have an interest in this information session.
